About Me...

Jennifer Minju Park is a Vancouver-based digital artist and 2D animator with a focus on visual development—storyboarding & concept art and illustration. She was born in Iksan, South Korea, but immigrated to Canada at the age of 10. Growing up as an immigrant learning English, she utilized art as a method to communicate with her peers and mentors. As she went through the journey of learning English as her second language as well as art as another form of language to express herself, she grew her love and interest towards storytelling and the visual development aspects of art.She finds inspiration in her childhood memories growing up in a Korean-Canadian household; her art reflects themes of nostalgia as well as her cultural background as a Korean through her work, recreating the world that only exists in her heart and memories.
